Description
This course is geared toward all operators, laboratory analysts, managers and superintendents working in the water and wastewater industry. It includes a review of units and conversions for measures using weights, a review of units and conversions for measures using volumes, the proper use of significant figures, and how to calculate desired concentrations of calibration standards and quality control samples. The course also provides instructions on calculations needed to determine final results for BOD/CBOD analyses, COD analyses, Solids determinations, and Method Detection Limit calculations. It also provides instructions on basic statistic calculations needed to prepare control charts for tracking of accuracy and precision.
