Description
DNCR is required to educate, for purposes of safety, employees who enter or who supervise confined space entry. In addition, all employees are required to attend right-to-know hazardous substance training as required by PA regulation.
Course Level
Basic thru Intermediate
Course Content
Attendees will be instructed on the proper entry of confined spaces, including but not limited to: metering devices for the detection of hazardous gases, confined space equipment inspection and usage, and how to respond in cases of emergencies.
*to-Know hazardous substance training, including but not limited to: identifying hazardous substances, reporting hazardous substances, training employees about RTK, and how to read and interpret MSDS information.
Target Audience
State park staff, some state forest staff, some DEP staff.
