Description
The communication process has never been easier or quicker; the world is linked electronically for instant access. Yet direct communications between people is--and probably always will be--a major problem facing team members and leaders. The process of communicating upward in an organization is not one many people work to refine. In order to communicate effectively with supervisors or managers, their style and environment must be clearly understood. Some leaders prefer brief overviews, while others demand detail. So the one sending the communication "up channel" has to adapt their own style to fit the style of the intended receiver.
