Description
Perhaps the greatest challenge facing communities is to maintain their environmental infrastructure. The estimated cost of replacing aging sewers and manholes is staggering. Yet by ignoring the collection system, the communities are faced with excessive infiltration & inflow at their treatment plants.
This course will introduce the student to collection system safety, the latest techniques for sewer rehabilitation, and understand the technology available for odor control in the sewer system.
