Description
Public Notification helps to ensure that consumers will always know what to do if there is a problem with their drinking water. The Public Notification (PN) rule has been revised, so this course covers revisions to the Public Notification Handbook for Community Water Systems along with two policy documents that supplement the PN revision regulations. This course also covers the incorporation of PN into sections of a community water supply system's Operation and Maintenance and Emergency Response plans. During the course, a workbook and a job aid bookmark-type table are handed out for use during the course and to use as reference materials afterwards.
