Essential Skills of Communicating helps employees learn the latest techniques in developing effective communication skills to improve their performance and increase team and organization productivity. Throughout the workshop, participants will review video presentations and case studies, participate in group discussions, practice new skills and receive immediate feedback. Participants will receive implementation tools, troubleshooting guides and other resources to help them apply the skills they have learned back on the job such as creating a climate of open communication, designing clear, concise messages, managing nonverbal behaviors effectively and listening to communicate.

Basic thru Intermediate

* Introduction of the essential skills of communicating * Review of key terms used throughout the course * Awareness inventory to measure the extent of participants' understanding of communication basics * Behavior modeling * Preview job aids and resource materials in workbook

Anyone who communicates with others at any level; especially team leaders, supervisors and managers
