Description
Vertical turbine pumps are dynamic pumps, for use where the suction lift is beyond the capabilities of a horizontal centrifugal pump. They are used in a wide variety of industrial and domestic installations that include municipal water supplies, industrial waste, water amusement parks, agricultural irrigation, and aircraft fueling. This course covers the different turbine pumps that are used today, how vertical turbine pumps are specified, and how they operate. It also discusses how to inspect and maintain vertical turbine pumps.
