Description
Industrial wastewater treatment plants may produce byproducts that are considered Hazardous Wastes (HW). It is important for operators to understand the HW requirements for generating, storing, and handling HW generated from wastewater treatment plants. They must also understand what constitutes “treatment” of HW, and whether they are permitted to do so without being classified as a HW Treatment Facility.
