Description
This training course is intended to introduce the student to OSHA standard subpart P - Excavations, and to the benefits of using excavation protective systems. The course is designed as a training resource. It is not designed or intended to provide the student with all the information, rules, regulations and methods necessary in order to become a competent person or to perform a excavation work in a safe manner. The course does nor replace courses specifically designed to cover OSHA and/or state-specific training requirements. The student must be able o demonstrate competency in determining soil types and an understanding of excavation protective systems before they can formally become a "competent person."
