Course Content
* discussions concerning the dewatering factors related in types of sludge with comparisons to cost, performance, and climates in your area - all play a hand. * the discussion on air drying methods was helpful at my plant. dewatering information was helpful at the facility. Polymers and various dry method information was helpful at my plant. * indications of the different sludge dewatering methods. Chemicals used in sludge dewatering. How to select the best dewatering process for my facility. * learned there are three basic types of polymers, Cationic, Anionic, and Nonionic. Belt filter presses are one of the more popular dewatering devices, and Vacuum filtation works better with primary sludges or mixed primary and secondary sludge. * understand more adequately belt filter presses, learning there is more to some of the other methodologies of dewatering than I thought.
