Description
The purpose of the course through classroom sessions and practical fieldwork, this course will give the student the ability to function safely and effectively as a member of a rescue team, operating at the scene of a confined space emergency. This program is designed to follow the OSHA Regulation 29 CFR 1910.146.

* Respiratory protection, anatomy and physiology
* Air monitoring, equipment and data interpretation
* Respiratory protection equipment for confined spaces
* SCBA/SAR confined space stress exercise
* Rescue knots and equipment, patient packaging and removal techniques, commercial and improvised lifting and
hauling systems
* Patient extrication, integrated exercises
* Review, summary, written exam, and course evaluation
