Description
Clandestine labs can pose a risk to both drinking water sources and wastewater systems. The illegal labs are often short-term and utilize a large variety of chemicals to produce the illegal drugs. The chemicals often dumped into wastewater system or into the environment (source water protection issue) The most common type of clandestine lab is methamphetamine (meth).
