Description
Source Water Protection is an voluntary/regulatory initiative of the EPA and PA DEP for community drinking water
systems. Water systems are encouraged to implement source water protection strategies as part of a
multiple barrier approach to water system operations. This course covers the regulatory background,
identification of major potential sources of contamination (PSOCs), associated health risks and
implementation strategies for managing risks.
