Description
The main purpose of this course is to teach operators how to work safely in a laboratory, collect representative samples, accurately analyze samples, and properly record laboratory test results.

Course Content
1. Work safely in a Laboratory.
2. Operate laboratory equipment.
3. Collect representative samples and also prepare and transport the samples.
4. Prepare samples for analysis.
5. Describe the limitations of lab tests.
6. Recognize precautions to be taken for lab tests.
7. Record laboratory test results.
8. Perform the following field or laboratory tests: alkalinity, chlorine residual, chlorine demand, coliform, hardness, jar test, pH, temperature, and turbidity.
