Description
The purpose of this course is to provide the trainees with the necessary information to prevent injuries such as amputations, crushes, de-gloving, thermal burns, shock, and fatalities from failing to properly control hazardous energy.

Target Audience
This course applies to all water and wastewater operators that are exposed to hazardous energy and may be required to work on electrical systems greater than 50 volts, perform service, maintenance, repair, or un-jam equipment, remove a safety guard or device, and access the point of operation or danger zone during normal operations.
