Description
The purpose of the Heartsaver First Aid Course is to teach rescuers the knowledge and psychomotor skills they need to recognize emergencies at the worksite and provide first aid. Some rescuers are required to take this course as part of their employer's effort to comply with OSHA regulations. The goal of the course is to train laypeople in first aid assessments and actions that have been shown to make a difference in mortality and morbidity rates. The course is designed to help participants achieve this in a time efficient manner.
