Description
The focus of this seminar is for water quality measurements in Water and wastewater plants. Presentations covered in the class include colorimetric analysis, chlorine analysis, pH, and dissolved oxygen in water and wastewater. Parameters measured by the attendee will be free and total chlorine, pH, and dissolved oxygen. Time will be spent on the proper use of standards and verification of accuracy. Attendees will verify the performance of a Chlorine analyzer and calibrate and verify process pH and Dissolved Oxygen probes. The course objectives will be met by presenting theory, incorporating practical applications of analytical techniques, and “hands-on” experience with each parameter.
