Description
Pumps installation and repair has been taught at DTCC Owens since spring 1997. The course was intially developed to provide water and wastewater treatment plant operators with an understanding of pumping systems by teaching pump hydraulics, common maintennce practices as well as applications and selection. By providing this type of instruction an understanding of systems previously held only by the engineering staff has helped to insure the safety and integrity of public and private water systems throughout the state of Delaware.
