Description
This two-day workshop is designed to provide participants with an understanding on the operation and maintenance of Hach's chlorine and turbidity process analyzers. The first day of the workshop will cover calibration and verification techniques for each instrument. Basic instrument maintenance will also be discussed. The course objectives will be met by presenting theory, incorporating practical applications of analytical techniques, and through demonstration and hands-on practice using on-line and laboratory instrumentation. Students are required to analyze water samples of known and unknown values. Since plant decisions are often based on the results of analytical testing, this course is applicable to both drinking water and wastewater operators.
