Description
Participants will come away with a better understanding of how to perform water and waste water microbiology methods. They will have confidence in their procedures, quality control activities and feel secure that the data they report is defensible.
The course will:
> Review Chapter 252 / NELAC requirements
> Provide guidance on internal quality control requirements
> Review PT Performance requirements and procedures
> Provide SOPs and quality control forms for each test method to use as guidance
> Review method specific calculations

Target Audience
Who Should Attend - All operators, laboratory analysts, managers, and superintendents working in the water and wastewater industries could benefit from this refresher course. Emphasis is placed on potable and non-potable fecal coliform analyses by membrane filter SM 9222D and MPN SM 9221E and E. coli by SM 9223B Colilert.
