Description
This course is designed for professionals who need Adult CPR/AED and First Aid for the work place. It is ideal for the lay person who is interested in learning Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Choking emergency situations for the Adult victim. Warning signs and symptoms for Heart Attack and Stroke will be discussed. The AED and the Chain of Survival will also be included. Basic First Aid will include how to recognize a medical emergency and how to properly give immediate First Aid care until proper medical treatment is applied.

• Understand early access to 911 and the chain of survival • Recognize signs and symptoms of a heart attack and stroke • Perform CPR on the Adult • Relieve airway obstruction in the conscious and unconscious Adult, Child and Infant • Administer the AED • Recognize First Aid emergencies • Administer Basic First Aid until professional help arrives
