The purpose of this training module is to illustrate and explain nitrogen hazards and the precautions to take to prevent nitrogen-related incidents.

Employees will understand:
1. The hazards of working with Nitrogen
2. View a video produced by the US Chemical Safety board
3. Learn the precautions to take when using Nitrogen
4. Review the plant safety rules regarding the use of Nitrogen
Target Audience
All NOVA Chemicals Beaver Valley Site Manufacturing employees, including Utility Technicians, Utility Operations Coordinators and Process Engineers. Administrative/Office employees are exempt.
