Description
> Several important revisions were recently made to the Pennsylvania Safe Drinking Water Regulations (Chapter 109). The revisions to the IOC, SOC, and VOC (Phase II / V Rule) requirements make up a large portion of this training course, so attendees will learn the basics of this rule.
> In addition to clarifying monitoring and reporting requirements for several rules and making revisions to improve data quality, one of the most significant changes is to the IOC, SOC, and VOC monitoring waiver process, so monitoring waiver criteria and applications will be covered.
> Because laboratories follow the requirements in the Laboratory Reporting Instructions for IOCs/VOCs/SOCs to ensure that data is reported correctly and on time, a walk-through of these instructions will occur.
> Attendees will also learn about revisions to the Filter Backwash Recycling Rule, the Lead and Copper Rule, and the Radionuclide Rule that impact monitoring and reporting.
