Description
The goal of this class is to introduce water operations personnel to a thorough discussion of various water treatment processes, their uses, characteristics, sizing and calculations for same. This course is designed to teach the skills and knowledge that an operator certified at this level needs to know for his/her job. The orientation is to the basic functions and responsibilities of Level 2 operators at most water treatment plants, including those at medium to large sized treatment operations. The program follows the ABC Need-to-Know, not as a course for operator certification. There is an assumption that operators taking this class have successfully completed the Level 1 operations class.
