Description
The purpose of this training is to provide a general understanding of daily work activities can potentially alter environmental balances. The course will give guidance on how to conduct operations in an environmentally responsible manner and in compliance with all applicable environmental laws and regulations. Attention to environmental management at corporate and facility levels is important in order to protect worker health, protect the environment, prevent pollution and good corporate responsibility. The course will cover environmental, safety and health policy and laws, how job performance affects the environment and improving environmental performance.

After completing the course, learners will be able to:
Identify environmental mission and goals
Identify EPA regulated environmental issues including Air emissions, stationary storage tanks management, used oil and universal waste.
List best management practices for dealing with industrial waste
Identify OSHA regulated environmental issues
List the elements of an emergency action plan for spill, fire and emergency response
List issues storage requirements for flammable, combustible and other chemicals
Environmental protection laws
