Description
This class will assist operators with operational troubleshooting strategies, and problem solving techniques for an Activated Sludge Process. This class will help you in dealing with your problem dischargers (industries, hauled waste, gas well brine, etc.). The focus will be on chemicals that are toxic to microorganisms, inhibit nitrification, sludge dewatering, and/or disinfection by ultraviolet light – how to identify them, and how they impact your treatment process.
