Description
: In this course operators will learn the basic operation of hydraulic valves. They will have one day of classroom training in which they learn basic hydraulic principles, how hydraulic valves operate, how pilot systems operate and applications for hydraulic valves within their systems. The will also learn how to initiate a valve start-up, trouble shooting valves and basic maintenance. Operators will also have a day in a working wet lab, where they will build a 4” valve body, pilot a valve with a pressure sustaining pilot, and pilot a valve with a pressure reducing pilot. Also, each student will be required to diagnose and repair simulated issues in their valves. Students will also be able to set altitude pilots in our 17’ simulated elevated storage tank. This course is designed to be both fun and informative covering both theory and practical applications.
