Description
In the United States there were 370 worker fatalities caused by vehicles in road construction sites from 2003-2007. Sixty-five of these were flagging/directing traffic. In Pennsylvania there were 13 worker fatalities from 2003-2007. In 2010, there have been three flagger fatalities in PA. The purpose of this training is to provide training for those contractors and others who must provide flagging operations. The training will comply with the MUTCD and the relevant Pennsylvania publications.
