This short course give an overview that will help operators understand where their energy dollar goes. First and foremost it will help operators identify what equipment uses energy, how much energy and when that energy is used. Benchmarking of current energy use to quantify savings. Accessing Utility Company Database information from smart-meters will be presented and discussed. Discussions of energy efficient equipment, processes and process control. Discussion of Pennsylvania Law concerning Guaranteed Energy Savings Contracts.
