Description
The Backflow Prevention Device Inspector/Tester Recertification Training is designed as a review course for those individuals who have let their certifications lapse six months and need to become recertified and/or have not met their recertification requirements of 50 tests in a three year period and 0.6 CEUs of approved training. This is a one-day review training and each individual will receive 0.6 CEUs upon completion. In order to become recertified each individual must pass a performance examination. Key issues will be covered to update the certified tester in the areas of cross-connection control and testing backflow prevention devices. A thorough "hands-on" review of testing procedures on various devices from different manufacturers will be integrated into the program.

Target Audience
Anyone who has been a Certified Backflow Prevention Device Inspector who has a current or expired certification. Persons included may be but are not limited to: Water Treatment Operators, Waste Water Treatment Operators, Plumbers, Fire Sprinkler Pipe Fitters, Fire Service Professionals, Department of Public Works Employees, etc.
