Description
This course will educate participants on the Stage I and II Disinfection By-product regulations, nature of disinfection by-products that form in drinking water, and the current practices regarding the control of these unwanted by-products. Topics include factors affecting disinfection by-product formation and treatment techniques intended to minimize disinfection by-product concentrations. Upon completion of the course, participants will better understand how disinfection by-product regulatory requirements apply to their facility and how various water treatment options can control by-product concentrations.
