Description
Confined space entries result in multiple human casualties every year due to various hazards. This training will make employees aware of hazards common to confined spaces and how to recognize such hazards. They will know entry procedures including how to complete an entry permit and hot work permit. They will know how to use and maintain the gas detection equipment that is available at their work reporting location. Attendees will assist in the installation and participate in the use of the district’s retrieval system and the forced air ventilator. They will understand the company’s policy on non-entry rescue.
