Description
Due to increasingly stricter stream water quality standards, wastewater treatment plants throughout the Commonwealth are being upgraded to provide a higher degree of treatment. New technologies are being developed and employed to achieved these stricter standards. This course will address the needs of the operators in the following areas: theory of nutrient removal, emerging technologies, how to operate these new technologies, the importance of instrumentation and troubleshooting a biological nutrient removal facility.
