Description
This one-day class is designed to provide participants with a thorough understanding of the procedures and techniques associated with chlorine analysis. Attendees will learn practical aspects of colorimetric chlorine testing in a lecture and hands-on setting. Verification of resulrs using standards will also be discussed and practiced. Automated laboratory amperometric titration techniqued will be demonstrated. Online, continuous chlorine analyzers will be discussed and demonstrated. Cerification of online analyzer results will also be practiced. Participants will leave the course with an understanding of laboratory and online chlorine measurement and performing verification.

*Introduction to Colorimetry: Presentation on the theory and techniques involved in colorimetric analysis, participants observe and run a chlorine analysis. *Chlorine Testing Lab: Chlorine analysisusinf powder pillows and AccuVacs, high range chlorine analysis, verification with secondary standard and prepared standard solution. *Demo/Discussion of Automated Amperometric Titration: Discussio of automated, amperometric titration, demonstration of AutoCat 9000 automatic amperometric titrator. *on lab includes running grab sample verification versus live chlorine analyzer *CL17 Lab *Q&A
