Description
The course is intended to give attendees a better understanding of the most common on-line analytical
instruments used for process control in wastewater treatment plants. The course will explain how the most
common instruments (D.O., ORP, Chlroine Residual, Nutrient Monitoring) work and how they can be used for improved process control of nutrient removal systems.
At the conclusion of the course, the student should understand the basics of operating and maintaining these instruments and how to incorporate them into control of their aeration systems, their BNR or ENR processes and their chlorine disinfection systems.
