Description
The Stage 2 Disinfection Byproducts Rule (DBP Rule) added a new component called Operational Evaluations. By calculating the Operational Evaluation Level (OEL) each quarter, systems can determine the need for evaluation of DBP issues before a violation occurs. If the OEL is exceeded, an operation evaluation and reporting to the state is required under the DBP Rule.
