Description
Electricity is used to run all parts of water and wastewater treatment processes. Under normal conditions, the electricity is safety contained within electrical equipment. However, due to humid, corrosive conditions, frequently water and WW facilities experience degradation of electrical systems. Occasionally this failure can be catastrophic, resulting in explosion and fire. The purpose of this course is to teach applicable law, how to recognize hazards and what mitigation technologies are available.
