Description
This course is designed to train operators in the practical aspects of operating and maintaining small drinking water supply and treatment systems, with an emphasis on the use of safe practices and procedures.

Topics covered include setting up a wellhead protection program, operating, maintaining, and rehabilitating wells, disinfecting wells and pumps, and troubleshooting operating problems. Also included: solution techniques for solving water treatment plant math problems.
