Description
Water Resources will introduce students to topics such as the properties of water, water resources management, sources of water, management of stormwater, and water quantity and quality requirements.

Course Content
Students will develop an understanding of the characteristics surface water and groundwater sources, and will examine the impacts of urbanization on runoff. Students will discuss the relationship between the hydrological cycle and the treatment of water and wastewater. Students will gain hands on experience through laboratory exercises, case studies, and field trips, as appropriate.
Target Audience
This course would be best for those with little to no experience in the water management field.
