Description
This course provides an overview of work zone safety for utility workers including: work zone identification and elements, Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), control zones and measures, flagger safety and employer and employee responsibilities. At the end of this course, students should have a basic understanding of compliance requirements and safe work practices to minimize the occurrence of work zone accidents.
