Description
Polyethylene Pipe is available in a variety of resins, sizes and sizing systems for Water and Wastewater applications. This course will provide a basic overview on the resins that are used to produce polyethylene pipe (PE 2406/2708, PE 3408/3608 and PE 4710). We will discuss each of the pipe sizes and appropriate methods for joining PE to PE and PE to other piping systems. We will also focus on the types and benefit of heat fusion including socket, butt and sidewall fusion. Includes demo with hands-on of each.
