Description
Significant oil spills in the past has driven the amendments of the Water Pollution Control Act to include the Oil Pollution Act and SPCC Compliance Rules, as well as other state specific chemical storage pollution prevention regulations. Aqua Pennsylvania trains its employees regarding the regulations and about Aqua's procedure that are designed to prevent oil discharges and chemical spills from polluting the navigable waters of the U.S., or adjoining shorelines and environment in general. The training is also designed to ensure effective and proactive measures are used in response to an oil or chemical spill.
