Course Description
The Motors and Motor Control for Operators Workshop is intended to provide attendees with a basic understanding of motor safety, Ladder Logic and Wiring Diagrams, common control devices, motor types and their applications, motor starters, selection of overcurrent protection devices, Hi/Lo voltage connections, basic motor maintenance, and an introduction to VFD’s and soft starts. The workshop will include multi-media, discussion, and activities to allow attendees to apply the lessons learned.
