Description
The purpose of this course is to provide the student with a process control strategy for a municipal wastewater treatment plant based on the sludge quality approach developed by Al West. The course will be in three parts. The first part will cover basic theory. The second part will be collecting data in the field. The third part will be determining wasting and return rates based on the data they collected. Additional discussion will be held on testing results for nitrogen removal.
