Description
Provide water and wastewater operators training on the potential hazards associated with the use of hand and power tools as well as the safety precautions required to prevent those hazards from occurring, including guards and safety switches. Power tool hazards and prevention measures are addressed by the power source used: electrical, pneumatic, liquid-fueled, hydraulic, and powder-actuated. This course provides an overview of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart I and 29 CFR 1910 Subpart P.
