Description
The main purpose of this course is to provide continuing education in understanding various FOG concerns; including grease management remedies, Hydrogen Sulfide safety, CMOM, cleaning methods and best management practices. This course is general in nature and not state specific, but will contain commonly found wastewater collection cleaning methods, hydrogen sulfide safety and general FOG management information. You will not need any other materials for this course.

1. Fats, Oils and Grease (FOG) and the concerns associated with these contaminants.
2. Capacity, Management, Operation and Maintenance (CMOM) concerns in relationship with FOG.
3. Dangers associated with Hydrogen Sulfide gas while FOG inspection.
Target Audience
The target audience for this course is primarily for operators who work in wastewater operations; Onsite, Pretreatment Inspectors, Wastewater Treatment Operators and Collection Operators. Also included are people interested in working in a wastewater treatment or onsite facility and/or wishing to maintain CEUs for a certification license or to learn how to perform their job safely and effectively, and/or to meet education needs for promotion. There are no prerequisites, and no other materials are needed for this course.
