Description
Do you find the computer-using world is passing you by? Are you really in need of a first course in computers but are terrified because you feel other persons in the introductory course will already be well beyond you? If so, then this "mini-course" is the right place for you to start. This course will provide you with enough background and hands-on experience to prepare you to take more upper level courses such as Introduction to Microcomputers and Exploring Windows. In this course, these are some of the topics that will be covered: computer concepts, Windows, Windows programs and file management. The textbook, Computer Concepts and Windows by Russell Stolins, is available for purchase at the College Bookstore for approximately $18.
