Description
This course gives a complete perspective how understanding the intricate properties of stormwater runoff, infiltration, and flooding can influence water and wastewater operations. It will also highlight how modeling can be utilized to make asset management decisions for a municipality’s stormwater, water, and wastewater infrastructure. Water and wastewater operators who take this class will have a better understanding of the importance of stormwater mapping and modeling to better protect water resources, areas where inflow and infiltration may occur, as well as flooding and infrastructure conflict.
