Description
The course provides hands-on use of the microscope (bright-field and phase contrast) and microscopic techniques (wet mounts, smears, staining, counting) of wastewater samples (activated sludge, foam, etc.) to identify and correlate to operational conditions (floc, bulk solution, filaments, protozoa, metazoa) for troubleshooting and process control.
