Description
The purpose of this course is to provide an overview of plant maintenance, basic laboratory equipment and methodologies and safety awareness as it pertains to chemical and other hazards associated with plant operations. Troubleshooting scenarios will be included.

Course Content
• Wastewater Laboratory Basics: an overview of basic lab equipment and methodologies as it pertains to wastewater treatment. This course will include instruction on lab procedures for process control parameters, QA/QC control requirements and data handling, record keeping and reporting
• Treatment Plant Maintenance: An overview of the basic principles of maintenance. The course will include instruction on the structure and implementation of a maintenance program
• Laboratory and Plant Maintenance Review & Exam
Target Audience
New operators, not yet certified and certified operators wanting to earn continuing education credit.
